Scientific Workshop 2011 "Spatial Analysis with GRASS" will take place in the Department of Climatology and Atmosphere Protection, University of Wroclaw from 6th to 9th June 2011. The organizers of the workshop are: Laboratory for Geographic Environment Spatial Modeling Methods, University of Wroclaw and Wroclaw's GRASS Users Group (WGUG). This year's workshop is also backed by the Polish Branch of OSGeo. At subsequent meetings held in various forms since 1998, organizers tried to present the capabilities of the system, the existing solutions and to share users' experience. During this year's workshop there will be presented numerous examples of data analysis, using both standard software components and custom solutions. Similarly to the previous editions, XIII GRASS Workshop will be divided into three parts: lectures (including the submitted presentations), practical classes and individual consultations (in which participants can develop their own ideas and work on their projects). For new GRASS users, an introductory course of this system would take place and will be held in the first day of workshop. Important dates and deadlines:
